Arranged in two groups: I. Vocal scores (2). II. Promptbooks (5 in 7 vols.). Copy one of the vocal scores represents the French premiere performance in 1886 (pub. by Kriegelstein). The other is an English adaptation published in London by Hopwood & Crew (189-?), with English libretto by F.C. Burnand, and additional words and music by Gilbert À Beckett and Ivan Caryll. Copies 1-4 of the promptbooks are typescript; copy 5 is manuscript. The English vocal score is published music interleaved with manuscript notes on stage direction.
